The Key To Achieving Big Goals

So many of us wait until January to create our goals for the new year but unfortunately waiting until January is too late.
January is the time to start “doing” not the time to start “planning”.
If you want to increase your chances of hitting your goals for the upcoming year, you need to hit the ground running on January 1.
As they say, “If you fail to plan you plan to fail”. And the longer you wait to plan, the less likely you will hit your goals for the new year.
Review Before You Plan
But before you plan, it’s really helpful to take a look at the past year.
What were your goals for 2011? Did you accomplish them? If not, why not?
Are those goals still important to you?
If so, then how are you going to make sure you accomplish them in 2012?
More of the same won’t make it happen this time around. If what you tried last year didn’t work, it’s not going to work this year either. You’ve got to do something different.
But how do you know what really works?
What strategy is going to be the key to making your goal actually happen this year?
Big Goals = Unexpected Roadblocks
In my experience, if you are trying to hit a big goal, especially something you’ve never done before, you are going to hit a bunch of unexpected roadblocks.
And unfortunately, that’s where most people fail.
They set a Big goal and get all fired up to accomplish it but then they hit unexpected roadblocks that slow them down or worse they get so discouraged they bail on the goal altogether.
But I’ve Got A Plan!
That’s awesome! Plans are great but they don’t ensure you will succeed.
I relate the process of achieving a big audacious goal to something like hiking through an unknown jungle to get to the land of milk and honey.
The land of milk and honey is incredible but getting there from here is the issue.
How do I navigate this unknown jungle? What will I encounter?
Will I get lost?
Will I get scared and run home?
Getting to the Land of Milk And Honey
I don’t know about you, but if I need to go through a jungle to get to the land of milk and honey, I want someone who knows that jungle like the back of their hand.
I want a guide. But not just any guide, a guide who has “been there done that”.
The guide who has real life practical jungle experience…not the guide that studied jungles in school but never actually walked through one.
The Real Key To Successful Goals
And that my friends is the real secret to successful goals.
Of course hard work is a big part of the equation. But if you ask any successful person, “What’s the best way to make sure I achieve my goal?” They will tell you “Find a coach or mentor”.
Why?
Because it doesn’t matter how much research or planning you’ve done, you are going to hit unforseen roadblocks. And nobody knows how to get around them like someone who has been through it before.
If you’ve got an ambitious health goal for 2012 and you REALLY want to make it happen, do yourself a favor and get a coach.
Finding The Right Guide
Today I am thrilled to be launching my Unconventional Body Transformation Program.
I am going to take 4 people by the hand and walk side by side with them to accomplish their most ambitious Health Goal for 2012.
I can’t wait to see their transformation and the smile on their face as their dream becomes a reality.
To me, there’s no better feeling in the world than doing something that makes someone else light up with joy and happiness.

But no matter what please do yourself a favor and start planning for 2012 NOW.
And when you set your goals, choose the one that is the most important to you. The one that will change your life and find a coach or mentor to help you get there.
If you do, by this time next year you’ll be looking back smiling at how awesome 2012 was…and how incredible the next year will be now that you know this little secret to success.

I have my goals lined up, I’ve got the ball rolling to let them all happen now I just have to stop having seizures so I can work out in the gym without terrifying my trainer.

I can see how seizures could be a problem. If all else fails, jump back on that Wii.
